A couple of days ago, I stumbled upon this excellent Instagram post – a screenshot of a Tweet by Tiffany Stevenson.
The post in question was mocking how men write about women – by emulating the ridiculous style from a woman writer’s perspective.
The original tweet has, as of the time of writing this sentence, 11.8k retweets.
I added a comment under that Instagram post, which reads:
“His juicy lips made silent treatment a treat – for his annoying words did not spoil the richness of that pout”
Right now, my comment has 1532 likes, and I thought that such an upvote of the quote made it worthy of becoming a cross-stitch pattern. Et voilà!
