About Cross-Stitch Vienna

Cross-Stitch Vienna is a passion project created by an individual who really needed a hobby to escape the turmoil of 2020. The Mistress remembered her relaxing high-school cross-stitching sessions and the love affair with needle & floss was reignited. Soon, she was designing her own patterns and decided to share them with the world…

Cross-Stitch Vienna is based in Vienna, Austria.

What personal data does CSV collect and why

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

I use the “WPForms” plugin to create contact forms with its default setting, which does not use cookies or share your information with third parties. The reason I use a contact form secured by reCAPTCHA is to prevent spam bots from harvesting my email and sending a load of nonsense to my inbox.

When a user clicks on the ‘Download’ button, the download counter logs your unique IP address and stores it for 30 days. Every time you want to download a file from CSV, you are asked to accept Terms & Conditions beforehand.
